Brad Pitt Is Reportedly Seeing an MIT Professor
Page Six reports that Brad Pitt is "spending time with" MIT professor Neri Oxman, who's also an an "acclaimed architect and award-winning artist." According to the site, they met through an architectural project at the university that Pitt is involved with, and became friends.
"Brad and Neri instantly hit it off because they share the same passion for architecture, design and art. This is best described as a professional friendship," a source told Page Six.
Though he's known for his onscreen work, Pitt has a keen interest in architecture. He once said while helping to design a hotel complex in Dubai in 2008, "Whilst acting is my career, architecture is my passion." He also helped commission architects to design and build over 100 eco-friendly homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. But now that he's found a new friend to pursue his hobby with, don't expect it things to get romantic.
"Their friendship has not turned into romance … as both are cautious and this is, again, more of a professional friendship," the insider added to Page Six, "but Brad is very interested in spending more time with Neri, she is fascinating."
As an A-list celeb, Pitt has been surrounded by potential romance rumors since parting ways with Angelina Jolie in September 2016. Last fall, it was reported that he was seeing (or at least "flirting with") Sienna Miller, and last fall, he was supposedly linked to 21-year-old British actress Ella Purnell, but that was promptly shut down. Earlier this year, E! reported that the father of six is casually dating, but it's "nothing serious." Page Six even said the actor went by his first name, William, while flirting.
News of Brad and Oxman arrives a week after it was reported that Angelina Jolie was "seeing a handsome, older-looking man who is a real estate agent." However, a source told told People that that was untrue. "She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be," the insider said.
