Braided Brows Are the New Beauty Trend We're Pretty Sure You're Never Gonna Try
We love a good braid. Along the side of the head? So pretty! Wrapped around the top like a crown? Gorgeous. Drawn across the forehead? Uh… okay…?
Apparently, makeup artists on Instagram are feeling intense pressure to come up with unusual eyebrow looks, because not long after squiggle brows went viral, braided brows have become a bona fide thing.
It all started when a talented young makeup artist named Eros Gonzalez posted a photo with his brows admittedly edited to look as though they'd been braided - though not before trying to manipulate the little hairs in real life.
"I spent almost an hour using things like hair gel and spirit gum in an effort to braid my tiny brow hairs with no avail," he told Allure. "Once I realized it wasn't going to work, I decided to just edit the braid on."
