Brazilian pop star Anitta will blow your mind with her wild pants

If you think you’ve seen weird pants trends lately, just wait until you see what Brazilian pop star Anitta stepped out in Tuesday.

At the Multishow Brazilian Music Awards, one of the country’s favorite singers showed up in a rather confusing outfit. All eyes were on Anitta as she made her way onto the red carpet in a statement-making number that can best be described as a bra and high-waisted underwear with leg and turtleneck attachments.

The 24-year-old singer posted a number of photos to her Instagram to show off her look by C&A before hitting the event. Initially rising to fame in 2013, Anitta has more than 23.5 million followers on Instagram currently and is set to be internationally recognized with a new hit song in collaboration with Diplo.

Posing with the American DJ at the event, the singer provided more views of her look, which one fan even tried to copy. Diplo hilariously posted a side-by-side photo on Instagram of himself and Anitta, next to a Brazilian social media star who often emulates celebrity looks.

But it wasn’t until Anitta’s performance that she truly shocked fans with a few outfit variations. Throughout her three-song medley, the singer rocked three different looks — one of which had her in just undergarments. As a result of the outfit and her killer dance moves, Anitta suffered a few wardrobe malfunctions. But the amazing performance, and the three awards she walked away with, surely made up for it.

Anitta took to her Instagram on Wednesday morning to address the multiple malfunctions, but thanked her fans nonetheless for their support.

Rolou mais do que mamilos ontem no Prêmio Multishow 2017 … e eu conto pra vocês é AGORA ? … ontem fomos os mais indicados e mais premiados da noite. Eu só tenho a agradecer aos meus f?s por estarem sempre ao meu lado como um exército me elevando e tornando meus sonhos reais… minha equipe que se doa de corpo e alma pra fazer tudo isso acontecer. Minha família que está sempre comigo nos momentos difíceis e esteve comigo ontem tentando me acompanhar nas 4 pizzas tamanho família na comemora??o pós prêmio (n?o conseguiram, obviamente). Como disse ontem ao ganhar pela primeira vez o prêmio de melhor cantora, um dia eu espero poder e conseguir mostrar pra vocês o quanto é dificil trilhar este caminho que escolhi sendo mulher, jovem, transparente e favelada. Crescer onde cresci, sem grana, sem estrutura, sem oportunidades, come?ar cantando o ritmo que sofria preconceito por maior parte da popula??o, ser sensual, ser solteira (ok, agora finalmente n?o mais), livre, estudiosa, esfor?ada, trabalhadora, dedicada, independente, "pegadora" e plastificada assumida num país "conservador". Eu agrade?o a cada um que me ajudou a quebrar barreira por barreira até chegar a este ponto, a cada um que segura minha m?o e vem comigo enfrentar os desafios que eu me coloco pra enfrentar. Ontem cantamos (todos nós) em inglês, espanhol, português, (lembrando que, pra quem n?o nasceu privilegiado, aqui já é dificil aprender a propria língua local…?♀?), teve gringo no palco se apresentando com a gente (e do meu lado sentado elogiando a qualidade dos nossos artistas) … e teve uma galera mais que ESPECIAL me dando uma aula diária (e depois no palco) de supera??o, for?a de vontade e talento. Mas… como tem que ter muito peito pra chegar até aqui.. talvez o meu tenha crescido demais nessa jornada e tentou roubar a cena. Ent?o… dos mais surperficiais aos mais entendidos… acho que rolou, né? ?♀??
