Britney Spears Is Reportedly Single Again After Short-Lived Romance Amid Divorce
Britney Spears, 41, is reportedly no longer seeing Paul Richard Soliz, 37, who was her former housekeeper. The two were first spotted together at the end of August, not long after Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce from her.
Soliz was reportedly hired in the past to clean bathrooms and do some housework before he was photographed sitting in Spears' car with her.
He also has a criminal history, most recently arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in December 2020.
The 37-year-old recently spoke with Us Weekly after a court appearance due to a probation violation, saying of Spears, "She’s a phenomenal woman."
"She’s a very, very good, positive. She's a good person," he continued, before referring to Asghari as a "great guy." Soliz also admitted at the time that he still saw Spears, saying that “she’s doing great.”
Since then, it appears that there has been a change in their relationship, as ET reported that the two are no longer seeing each other. This comes not long after the publication reported that people close to Spears didn't approve of Soliz, thinking that he wasn't "good for her."
Soliz appears to be Spears' first romance after Asghari filed for divorce in the middle of August. Court documents listed their date of separation as July 28.
Following news of the split, Spears has not publicly shared a response, although she appears quite carefree in her social media posts.
Most recently, she showed off her dancing skills in a risqué video, while not long before that she rocked a yellow bikini while going horseback riding on the beach.
