Call of Duty: WW2 has live action trailer that wants you to get the gang back together

It's apparently time to get the gang back together. That's the theme for a new Call of Duty: WW2 trailer that's just released, subtitled 'Reassemble'. Set to Royal Blood's Figure It Out, and being a little parody of pretty much every single film, TV show, or book that's had a "one last job" style get-together, you can watch it above.

It even has a "I told you before, I'm out" line, as many of the people who played Call of Duty during its prime years set in WW2 have grown up a bit now, with jobs and families to take care of. Maybe you, too, get your coffee taken away and get called the wrong name by your boss.

This is the UK version of the trailer, but there's also a US version for those over the Atlantic, with some similar jokes. It even ends the same way, except with a kid on a tricycle rather than The Gang drying to punt a football. That's also available on YouTube, and features a dart hustling mother plus a hot tub. 

There's also a French version, which even features a man on a pedal boat getting denied a date, because of course.

In case the trailer and the game's name weren't obvious enough, Call of Duty is giving up the futuristic warfare in favour of going back to its roots in World War 2. Multiplayer betas have already showed off the game, and it's not giving up the Nazi Zombies that have been gaining in popularity ever since they were first introduced, with datamining showing off that the game is going to have a London-based map too.

Call of Duty: WW2 is releasing on November 3 for PC, Xbox one, and PS4. Other than the Nazi Zombies, it's meant to be a realistic shooter of the period, with a story and set of guns to accurately reflect the time period. There's also a season pass, which will offer four DLC packs through 2018, plus a special Carentan map, which you may remember from previous Call of Duty games.
