Campbell's Chunky Drops Soup Flavor So Spicy, You'll Need to Sign a 'Waiver' to Try It

Campbell’s Chunky wants you to feel the heat with its latest offering.

Is it hot in here or is it just Campbell’s Chunky new soup flavor?

The brand is dropping a new soup that’s so hot, those brave enough to try it will need to sign a waiver.

Chunky Ghost Pepper Chicken Noodle isn’t your grandma’s chicken noodle soup—according to the Scoville heat unit scale, it’s a staggering 13 times spicier than Chunky Spicy Chicken Noodle, per the press release.

However, it still manages to maintain the true savory flavor of chicken and vegetables that people love and expect from Campbell's.

So, how can you get your hands on it?

The first 500 people to sign the waiver (it’s a joke and not legally binding) at ChunkySpicyWaiver.com on Friday, Jan. 27, at 1PM ET will receive a can of the soup to prove themselves.

Each can will also come with a “Relieve the Heat” kit, which includes tissues, a fan, sweat band and cooling towel.

“We’ve seen a tremendous response to our Chunky spicy lineup and fans keep asking for more,’” said Kristina Moses, the Brand Manager for Campbell’s Chunky.

“As our spiciest soup to date from Chunky, Ghost Pepper Chicken Noodle answers the call for more heat, and we’re excited to see how many brave consumers are willing to sign the ‘waiver’ for the chance to try,” she added.

The limited-time soup is the most extreme offering from the spicy line that was introduced in 2022 and includes the Spicy Chicken Noodle, Spicy Steak and Potato, Spicy Sirloin Burger and Spicy Chicken and Sausage Gumbo.
