All 11 of Carrie Underwood's stunning CMA looks
There are few occasions when Carrie Underwood doesn’t look like an absolute dream. But for her 10th time co-hosting the annual Country Music Awards, she went above and beyond with her looks — all eleven of them.
The 34-year-old Oklahoma native took Nashville by storm on Wednesday evening when she arrived on the CMA red carpet wearing a gorgeous shade of blue. The mermaid silhouette gown with a ruffle off-the-shoulder neckline was the perfect choice for the singer’s arrival before she slipped into a few more fitted ensembles through the night.
When first appearing onstage for her monologue alongside co-host Brad Paisley, Underwood rocked something a little more show-worthy and decked in glimmering sequins. The sheer burgundy romper featured a gorgeous cape that complemented Paisley’s burgundy suit jacket.
Keeping up wth their coordinated looks, the pair both changed into blue-green ensembles. While Paisley swapped his red jacket for something of a deeper blue, Underwood wore another long, sheer look. This time, it was green with lots of floral embroidery.
The singer quickly returned to a bright dress reminiscent of her red carpet look. With its plunging neckline similar to her very first dress, Underwood’s hot pink minidress was made super playful with turquoise shoes and accessories.
Another play on the minidress led Underwood to her edgiest look of the event, when she rocked a deeper color palette and a harsh silhouette. The singer showed off her long legs with the draping in front of the dress, as well as her tiny waist with a metallic silver belt and some geometry.
For the night’s most emotional performance, Underwood took the stage in an angelic white tulle dress to sing a tribute to country stars who died in 2017 and the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. All eyes were on the full skirted gown with floating florals as the arena listened to the song’s beautiful lyrics, and many, including Underwood, broke down into tears.
Underwood followed the celestial look with a less embellished gown in black-and-white, before going back to a vibrant color palette.
In her third full-skirted tulle look, the singer wore a periwinkle mini with sheer sleeves.
A sheer mini continued to be the name of the game when Underwood changed into this nude-dress decorated with white jewels.
The most unique silhouette of the night came from this open-back dress adorned with gold tinsel.
To cap off the evening, Underwood slipped into her last sparkling ensemble to perform with Paisley and Alan Jackson. Coming full circle from her first stage look, she wore a full length silver jumpsuit featuring one caped sleeve and a half-skirted bottom.
Although the room was filled with stars for the 51st annual CMAs, there’s no doubt that Underwood came dressed to impress.
