Chad Michael Murray Will Star In His Very Own Hallmark Christmas Movie This Year
The Hallmark Channel's 2018 "Countdown to Christmas" television event is shaping up to be merry, bright-and extra hunky.
One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray, 36, will star in his first Hallmark Christmas movie this year, according to Entertainment Weekly. The actor, who was featured in Hallmark's The Beach House adaptation earlier this year, is slated to star in The Wise Men opposite Jessy Schram.
In the movie, Maggie (Jessy Schram) is on a mission to help her boss's sons arrive home for Christmas in the middle of a blizzard. Though the snow is ruining her plans, things will begin to heat up when she enlists some help from her coworker Danny (Chad Michael Murray).

The announcement follows the news of an extended "Countdown to Christmas" lineup across the Hallmark Channel and its sister network, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. The star-studded television event will feature a record 36 festive films starring fans favorites Candace Cameron Bure and Lacey Chabert, newcomers LeAnn Rimes and Kellie Pickler, and even more famous faces.
Though there's no word on an official premiere date yet, we know the network event will kick off their holiday movie lineup on the Hallmark Channel on October 27 and on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel on November 4. Just three months to go, folks!
