This Snowboard Non-Profit Brings Inner City Kids to the World of Snowboarding
The Hoods to Woods Foundation operates as a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to fostering outdoor awareness among inner-city children through snowboarding. The initiative was established in 2009 with the core belief that everyone should have equal access to nature. Brian Paupaw and Omar Diaz, the co-founders, were raised in underserved communities in New York City, which motivated them to share their passion for the outdoors and positively impact inner-city youth.
