Chester: Boy Scout Troop 2819 hosts free family fishing day for all ages, shuttle provided
CHESTER — You are o-fish-ally invited to Boy Scout Troop 2819's Fishing Fun Day at Chester Club Lake. The free event for beginners and seasoned anglers is on Saturday, August 10 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Event patches and limited concessions like hot dogs, water, Gatorade and chips will be available for purchase with cash only. Parking will be located at Ecoff Elementary School at 5200 Ecoff Avenue in Chester. Two Heart of Virginia Council [HOVC] shuttles will run all day to help limit traffic.

The event sponsored by Chester Fishing Club and Chesterfield Fish & Game is open to everyone, adults and youth. To help determine how many poles are needed, registration is required at scoutingevent.com/602-FishingFun.
