'Chicago PD's Marina Squerciati Shows Off Archery Skills With Daughter in New Photos
Marina Squerciati is trying her hand at a new outdoor sport, and she brought her daughter along for the adventure!
The Chicago P.D. actress recently documented her experience with archery, taking to Instagram to show off a duo of shots where she and the young girl appeared in a spacious, open field.
In the first snap, the 39-year-old stood alone, holding a large, green-colored bow and arrow, while in the second, she assisted her child in maneuvering a smaller, black one. Though Squerciati has opted to keep her daughter's name private, she often shares photos of their outings together.
By the looks of the actress' hashtags, the pair carved out time during their "hiatus" and family vacation to give the activity a go.
"Katniss & Mini Katniss," she opened the caption of the post, likening herself and her daughter to Jennifer Lawrence's character, Katniss Everdeen (who was exceptionally skilled with a bow and arrow), in The Hunger Games film series.
"Never hit the target, but we had so much fun! @suncadia ??," she continued, also tagging the name of their location as Suncadia Resort, a mountain destination nestled in Washington state, where she also attended a wedding just a few days prior.

Fans and followers in the comment section absolutely adored the nature-filled content and didn't hold back on expressing their thoughts on the photos.
"this is possibly- no definitely the CUTEST thing I have seen on the internet EVER," one gushed, while another agreed the mommy-daughter duo are the "Cutest and adventurous girls ??" and a third said, "You and little Squerciati on the second photo is the cutest picture????."
Another Instagrammer, who is likely a fan of the NBC drama series where Squerciati portrays the character of Kim Burgess, posed a question for the actress, asking, "What are the chances Kim will be allowed to use a bow and arrow next season? Could be interesting ??."
An additional Chicago P.D. fan concurred, responding to the caption with: "kimberly burgess would 100% singlehandedly survive the hunger games ??."
As for the Dick Wolf-created show, the tenth season wrapped last month, with a confirmed upcoming season eleven in the works.
