Chick-fil-A Is Adding a New Chicken Sandwich to the Menu
It looks like Chick-fil-A got the memo that fans are loving sweet and savory combinations because the restaurant is reportedly releasing another menu item that features the flavor combo.
Nearly one year after Chick-fil-A added the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich to menus for a limited time, the chain is said to be adding the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich to menus nationwide. Food influencer @markie_devo shared the details of the sandwich in an Instagram post uploaded earlier this week.
The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich was previously in select locations only and will be debuting nationwide on June 10. The sandwich features a lemon-herb marinated boneless chicken breast, Pepper Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and bacon, hand-tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend. For a "swicy" kick, it will be topped with sweet and spicy pickle chips.
And since we'll need something to cool down, Chick-fil-A is bringing back its beloved Peach Milkshake. The frozen treat combines Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert with peaches for a summer-friendly sip.
Prior to last year's release of the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A hadn't released a new chicken sandwich in nine years. Well, it looks like the restaurant is really getting into the habit of introducing new sandwiches because they're currently testing a Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich in participating restaurants in Raleigh, North Carolina.
If the test is successful, there's a good chance we could be seeing the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich on menus in the near future. Fingers crossed!
