Chrissy Metz Takes to Twitter to Shut Down Those Alison Brie Rumors
Award show season is already off to a dramatic start: During the Golden Globes Facebook Live Pre-Show, viewers thought they heard This Is Us star Chrissy Metz say a few choice words about GLOW actress Alison Brie. After wrapping up her interview, the co-hosts ask Metz if she'll help introduce Brie as their next guest, and the exchange had some viewers feeling awkward.
Around the 25:18 mark, the co-hosts ask if she knows who Alison Brie is. "Do I?,"Metz replies. Then, as the camera pans over to Brie, the microphone picks up Metz saying, "She's such a ..." Many viewers took it upon themselves to assume that her sentence ended with the word bitch.

In fact, it wasn't all that long ago that the two actresses looked like pals on the red carpet.
Indeed, Metz later took to Twitter to explain that it was all a big misunderstanding, and she has absolutely nothing negative to say about Brie.
"It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated! I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart," she wrote.
