Chrissy Teigen Had The Best Response After John Legend Said He Used To Cheat In His 20s
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are known for lots of things (like both being ridiculously talented), but one of the things we respect about them most is the fact that they aren't afraid to keep it real. So when John mentioned on a podcast that he was no stranger to cheating on partners in his 20s, it was pretty predictable that Chrissy would have a sharp response. And we were right!
Last week, in an appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, John said that he had a "history" of cheating in his early 20s.
"I think yes, I did have a history [of] it, especially in my 20s," he said. "I think what happened for me personally is, you go through a lot of your life, like your teens, and I was like the 'two years younger kid than everybody' in high school and college, and so I just didn’t get a lot of girls when I was younger. And when I started to get that attention, I loved it—just ate it up."
The word "especially" is what really stuck with Chrissy, who tweeted a screenshot containing that quote saying: ""especially"?? the other shit is the 10's and 30's so u better be talking the tens, idiot," she tweeted.
But it seems like Chrissy can definitely rest easy because John did go on to say that meeting her in his late 20s is what changed things for him.
"At a certain point you just realize, like, you're happier being honest," he continued: "And you're happier being faithful and being in love with one person. And at a certain point, I just decided that that person was Chrissy and I just decided I wasn't going to mess with anybody else anymore."
