Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Are Still Sorry About Their 'Blowout' Fight at Kim and Kanye West's Wedding
Way back in May 2014, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend had a very bad fight at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding in France and Italy. Teigen is still apologetic for it, and the couple also still regularly tries to figure out just how it happened. The two talked pretty candidly about the whole thing on Watch What Happens Live last night. Cohen mentioned a fan asked about the big fight they had at Kimye's nuptials.
"I don’t even remember what it was about," Legend truthfully started.
"We try to think about this all the time," Teigen added "It was a major blowout to the point that where like, every time I see them, I feel like apologizing for it."
"I don’t think they knew, no," Legend offered.
"Oh, everyone knew," Teigen insisted. Then she mused about how it happened: "I think I felt-I think I was really intimated. I just, I didn’t-I think it came from a lot of insecurity and I just took it out on John. It was a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room and you just-I think that’s where it stemmed from, but I was just very insecure and very, I don’t know, I think that’s where it stemmed from and it just, you know how things snowball, into like a bigger thing and also, [I was] drinking, which doesn’t help."
The two also very diplomatically addressed their friend Kanye West's problematic Twitter rants. Legend was very cautious with what he said but also made it clear that they don't agree with some of West's views (as they've already made clear on Twittter) and there's no way they have any control over what Ye does:
