Christina Aguilera Posts Rare Video of Daughter Summer for Her 43rd Birthday

A quick glance at Christina Aguilera's Instagram grid reveals photos and videos of the pop star and her various projects. However, for her 43rd birthday, Aguilera treated fans to a rare video including her daughter, Summer.
On Tuesday, Dec. 19, the "Genie in a Bottle" singer took to Instagram with a video recapping her birthday the day prior. "Thank you for all the birthday wishes - sending love from Vegas ????," she captioned the post.
In the clip, Aguilera explored a room filled with balloons—including a giant balloon sign that reads, "Happy Bday"—with 9-year-old Summer. Mother and daughter posed by the display while smiling before the scene cut to a stage of performers with a backdrop that read, "Happy Birthday Christina!" The "Beautiful" singer blew out a single candle on a cupcake, delighted by the special birthday treatment. Fittingly, the video featured her Back to Basics "Intro" playing in the background.
Aguilera's Las Vegas residency at The Venetian Resort's Voltaire venue kicks of on Dec. 30—which is likely why she, her daughter and (presumably) her fiancé Matthew Rutler are there with her. (She also shares a son, Max, 15, with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman.) Shows run through March 2.

In August, Aguilera posted a sweet birthday shoutout for her daughter via Instagram. The post featured photos and a video clip of Summer joining her on stage for a show in Israel.
"Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Summer Rain ," she captioned a carousel of photos. "Today I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by. These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures, and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you. ?"
Aguilera continued: "Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment. Witnessing the remarkable young woman you are evolving into fills me with immense pride. Mommy loves you so much!"

The pop star mama may not often share her kiddos on her grid, but what her posts lack in frequency, they certainly make up for in quality!
