You can’t be too precious when it comes to pampering.

Just ask Flip or Flop co-host Christina El Moussa, who didn’t shy away from getting messy on her recent spa day with a pal. It seems the friends grabbed their bikinis for the full mud bath experience, and the HGTV star has the photographic proof.

But is all that grime worth your time? Though they’re undeniably messy, mud baths have been praised for centuries for helping to purify, and to exfoliate skin while relaxing muscles and treating some skin conditions. The Marine Mud Massage at Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona, Calif., where El Moussa and her friend spent their day, is designed to “detoxify and de-stress … for complete relaxation.”

And while the mother of two, who finalized her divorce from co-host Tarek El Moussa in January, is by all reports happily seeing new boyfriend Ant Anstead, her bikini selfie has of course prompted a few “romantic” proposals in her mentions.

Consider this charmer: “Instead of paying to git muddy, hop on a four-wheeler with a redneck and have more fun.”
