Big news! I'm partnering w/ @Kohls to launch #NineWestAtKohls. I've loved this brand since the first time I started wearing heels. It was so fun dancing through this video. Wait until you see the bold power suits! Stay tuned- the collection launches exclusively at Kohl's on 9/12. pic.twitter.com/EEVDXvsbw7

Ciara knows a thing or two about fashion. Of her many show-stopping fashion moments, there are two that make her the most proud. The first? The risk she took at this year’s Met Gala (her ensemble consisted of a shimmering emerald cut-out dress with larger-than-life hair — fashionistas and critics everywhere loved it). The second is her new collaboration with Nine West and Kohl’s.
The collection is bringing the popular Nine West brand (clothing and its famous shoes) to Kohl’s.
“I have somewhat of a long history with Nine West,” the singer/dancer tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “When I was younger, Nine West shoes were some of the first heels that I wore. It's honestly really cool to see everything come full circle.”
In addition to going from fan to collaborator, Ciara says part of what makes these pieces so special is the potential for shoppers to adapt them to their own styles.
“We all have our good things that make us unique, and fashion is about tapping into the inner self and finding what those things are,” she explains. “My advice: Be you and find the piece that fits you best — you literally can find anything in this collection.”
Pieces in the Nine West x Kohl’s look book are almost all of which are under $100 (sizes range from XS to XXL and 2-18) and include funky and bright striped sweaters, animal print tops and trousers and monochromatic power suits — the orange is Ciara’s favorite.

“It's definitely something you remember,” she says of the power suit. “It's so simple and so memorable and so classic and timeless. I love that monochromatic look. It's just strong and powerful and made me feel that way.”
The fearlessness she felt is something she hopes all shoppers will experience.
“Fashion can help you with confidence,” she says, adding that “an outfit can change your whole approach to the day.”
While Ciara says the collection is made for anybody, the fact that you can effortlessly mix and match pieces is an important element. The star describes herself as a “one-stop-shop” customer who gets impatient if she can’t find all that she’s looking for in the same place.
“Being a mom and on the go, you just don’t have time to really overthink the process,” she says.

“Have fun with the collection,” she adds. “Be creative. The great thing is that you get to spend your money wisely when you shop this collection. I encourage the girls to rack up!”
