Coco Austin and Ice-T's Daughter Learning to Play Beer Pong Prompts Debate

Coco Austin and Ice-T

Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin are the proud parents of a future beer pong champion—but some of their followers aren't totally impressed.

Coco, 44, recently shared an Instagram video to show off her daughter Chanel Nicole Marrow's talent at the popular party game, an unlikely skill considering the child is only 8 years old.

The video showed the young girl as she nailed four shots in a row, bouncing a ping pong ball right into the cups with ease. Her talent shocked not only just her mom, but also the two women in the video, presumably friends or family members, who couldn't believe their eyes at Chanel's consecutive cup hitting.

"Chanel's got skills," Coco wrote across the Instagram video, which was captioned, "Chanel's hidden talent apparently..."

But even though Chanel was all smiles in the video—and of course wasn't actually drinking any alcohol during the game—some users in the comments thought it was inappropriate to introduce the child to a game commonly played with booze.

"??really you taught her how to play beer bong???Something is wrong with all the adults in this video!!??" one person wrote in part in the comments, while another person called the video "disturbing."

But others were quick to come to Coco's defense, including one follower who noted, "the only thing that makes this game 'adult' is the beer. If you put any other beverage in, it's just a silly ball throwing game." Coco even replied to that commenter, adding, "yes exactly we literally have water in [the] cups...so stupid...she was just having fun throwing the ball."

"For yall freaking out that she’s playing pong. You know they have this game for kids to play at Dave and Busters right?" someone else argued in another comment. "It’s not nearly the crisis some of yall are making it out to be."

Other users tried to ignore the haters altogether, instead focusing on Chanel's obvious talent.

"She's got good eye/hand coordination," one user noted, while another called her Ice-T's "true mini me."

"Go Chanel!!!!!!??????????," someone else cheered her on.
