Rip Wheeler might not be the biggest fan of dogs, but actor Cole Hauser certainly is!
The 49-year-old Yellowstone star has had a number of pups over the years, including a chocolate Lab, Cota, and a black Lab, Mud. And while dogs might not be a common sight on the Dutton Ranch, they’re a constant fixture in Cole’s real Montana life.
Whether he’s camping with the kids or taking in a stunning sunset, Cole is sure to have a dog nearby. Most recently, the Free Rein co-founderwas seen cozying up with Mud on the ranch while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee in honor of National Dog Day, which fell on August 26.
Of course, Cole doesn’t solely celebrate his dogs and pups everywhere one day a year—he’s made it a part of his work ethos. Every purchase of Free Rein’s Dog Bandanas benefits Southern Cross Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization that trains and provides service dogs to qualified veterans in need.
As if we needed more reasons to love Cole, this development has landed him in the hearts of even more fans.
“Thank you for highlighting and supporting the work of service dogs! ?? And for making delicious coffee,” one fan commented on Instagram. “Rip and a black lab. Two of my favorite things,” another fan exclaimed. “So Rip doesn’t hate dogs. I knew it,” someone else chimed in. “I knew Rip loves dogs,” another fan remarked.
