Wu has never been at the Screen Actors Guild Awards before, so tonight marks a major first for her-and another chance for her to add a statement look to her award season red carpet run. Wu was last at the Critics' Choice Awards where she wore a chic Rodarte dress with blunt bangs and a lob:

She began award season at the Golden Globes at the start of this month. There, she went for the ultimate nude princess dress: a tulle gown by Vera Wang. It had a orange ribbon tie at the waist, and Wu complemented the entire look with a diamond necklace. Her hair was in an elegant bun:

This may be Wu's last big night this award season. Crazy Rich Asians did not get an BAFTA or Oscar nominations, the last two shows left that will be this February. Crazy Rich Asians omission from the Academy Awards nominee list was seen as a snub-one that Wu's costar Awkwafina talked about to Variety.

“I don’t really know the exact reasoning behind it, but yeah, of course it would have been cool,” Awkwafina said about the prospect of the film getting a nomination. “But we did have an amazing awards won. We were up for tons of awards and we actually won the Critics Choice Best Picture…we’re very grateful for the attention that it’s gotten. I don’t think we anticipated it to be nominated for any awards, so the fact that it got as much recognition as it did, I think that’s enough.”
