The larger-than-life retailer proudly dons its equally large Santa hat around the holidays, and every day, there seems to be yet another reason to add getting a Costco membership to your Christmas list. From Butter Pecan Meltaways to the chain’s famed holiday cookie tray, the list of festive sweets the merchant offers could go on and on. With the staggering amount of goodies the retailer offers, you might be wondering what else they could possibly have up their sleeve — and of course, Costco has an answer.

Fans of the warehouse-style grocery chain are well aware of the legendary sweets hiding in the retailer’s bakery section — most notably its bar cakes. While there are plenty of traditional flavor offerings available, the introduction of a Black Forest Bar Cake has shoppers going wild.

Each rectangle-shaped delight consists of layers of moist chocolate cake, sweet cherry filling and luscious whipped cream. The whole thing is topped with chocolate shavings and bright red maraschino cherries making it (almost) too pretty to eat. Shoppers can purchase the delicious looking cake for $17.99 and at a whopping 2-pounds, the price is a steal.

It didn’t take long for the comments to come rolling in under the @costcobuys Instagram post showing off the decadent dessert. “Got it this weekend. Loved it.??” said one person. “Bought it the instant we saw it. Sooooooo good,” echoed someone else.
