Costco's Newest Healthy-Ish Treat Is Perfect for Chocolate Loversā€”And People Are Buying Multiple Bags at a Time

Fighting to suppress a chocolate craving is one of the worst aspects of sticking to a diet. And when that craving hits, suddenly all the excuses in the world are readily available to justify devouring an entire bar of chocolatey goodness. While we all deserve a cheat day, some of us tend to need more than just a day and can easily find ourselves longing for that elusive snack that's the perfect balance of healthy and tasty. I'll be the first to admit that it causes me to dream of the days when I was a child and could take down an entire pillowcase of candy on Halloween without a second thought.

Lucky for us, Costco has a cheat day alternative that just might fit the bill: the Skinny Dipped Cups. Since recently hitting shelves, the cups are already garnering a lot of positive attention due to their similarity to Reeseā€™s Peanut Butter Cups, minus the heavy sugar content. Spotted by Laura over at Costco Hot Finds, these dark chocolate peanut butter cups feature peanut butter as the first ingredient and only contain 2 grams of sugar per cup. With each bag containing 30 cups, thatā€™s only 60 grams within the entire lot ā€” which is not a bad ratio if you ask us.

ā€œAs a diabetic, Iā€™m so thankful Costco has been getting more and more low carb/low sugar items that we can enjoy,ā€ commented one satisfied snacker, while another reminded everyone to ā€œput them in the freezer, yum!ā€

Make sure to reach out to your local Costco before heading over to grab a bag (or three) though, and be prepared to fight the urge to devour them all.
