Country Artists Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Marry in Nashville Wedding
Country artists Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris are now officially husband and wife.
The couple married on Saturday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, according to multiple outlets. The Southern hotspot is, of course, the town where they first met while penning a tune for fellow artist Tim McGraw.
Hurd, 31, proposed in July 2017, with a custom ring. “I know what she likes and I had somebody in Canada put it together,” Hurd told Entertainment Tonight shortly after the proposal. “The stone is from New York City, it’s from an uncut diamond, and then the rest of it’s cast just custom for her. I couldn’t just buy something. I had to make it something that fit her.”
Morris revealed the ring on Instagram alongside a loved-up photo with her then fiancé and a Corona.
On Friday, just one day before exchanging vows, Hurd debuted his new single, “Diamonds or Twine,” to honor his future wife.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s diamonds or twine, I’ll be wrapped around your finger,” he sings on the track. “Girl, you got me till we run out of time, rich or poor, rain or shine.” Listen above.
