We can hear the wedding bells!

Ty Herndon, the out gay, country singer best known for songs like “Hands of a Working Man,” “It Must Be Love,” and “Steam,” got married to his partner Alex Schwartz on Saturday, August 26 in Chapmansboro, Tennessee.

According to People, the ceremony was attended by over 300 people, including celebrities such as Kristin Chenoweth and Sally Struthers. The wedding decoration was a mix of black-and-white formal attires and a country farm backdrop, which Herndon labeled as “country chic.”

The event also featured several musical performances from artists like Anita Cochran, Jamie Floyd + Jimmy Thow, Matt Bloyd, and Shelly Fairchild.

Herndon and Schwartz got engaged in February 2022 after dating for six months. Now, four months after their engagement, the couple has officially tied the knot.

The singer also made sure to honor his and Schwartz’s late family members who couldn’t be present for the wedding.

“My father has been deceased for a long time,” Herndon explained. “So we had a beautiful photo of him on a table alongside one of Alex’s baby brother who passed away.”

Herndon also praised Schwartz and explained what he hopes for their future as a married couple. He told the publication:
“I love his goofiness, his heart, his loyalty, the way he looks at me, the way he holds me, and the way I feel safe with him. I pray to God that I am all those things to him. He has taught me how to love better and how to be a better human.”
