Crescent Breakfast Squares Will Slay Your Brunch
GET THE RECIPE HERE.
I'm going to fill you in on a little secret about hosting brunch. Disregard all the pancake, waffle, and frittata recipes. What everyone really wants is a good 'ole breakfast sandwich, which would be annoying AF to make for a dozen hangry friends. Enter: Crescent Breakfast Squares. Each one tastes like a really good BEC ... but better! Here's how to make them.
BUY NOW: Silicon Pastry Brush, $7.95, amazon.com.
1. Scramble eggs!
2. Unroll a sheet of crescent dough onto a small baking sheet. If there are perforated edges, pinch them together to seal. Top with ham (or bacon), eggs, chives, and cheese, then lay another sheet of crescent dough on top.
3. Brush the crescent dough with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning mix. (See, these are already better than BECs.)
4. Bake until golden, let cool for a bit, then slice into squares.
Happy brunching!
