The Dover Motor Speedway offers a chance to drive a NASCAR race car by yourself with the help of real pit crew members and driving instructors. Depending on how long your booking is for, prices range from around $300 to over $1,000, but there are holiday sales going on.
Go Ape! Ziplining adventure near Glasgow
If you've conquered your fear of heights, this zipline and treetop adventure experience will be the perfect activity once the weather warms up again.
You can reserve your sport to travel through 40 obstacles, 50-foot high treetops and 700-foot-long ziplines around Lums Pond State Park near Glasgow. Keep in mind, children must be at least 10 years of age and at least 4 feet, 7 inches tall. The maximum weight for an individual is 285 pounds.
Support local arts
Wilmington Drama League: 10 W. Lea Blvd., Wilmington
For the theater lover in your life, tickets to a singular show or a ticket plan for a full season of shows at the Wilmington Drama League is the perfect gift. Flex plans are available to get access to four or eight shows per season, with the choice available to pick only the shows you want to see.
Shows are already planned up until late June of next year, so there's plenty of time to plan ahead!

Every year, the Music School of Delaware hosts over 100 performances, events, master classes and workshops at both the Wilmington and Milford branches. Check out the performances and events happening going into next year.

The Delaware Contemporary space has deep roots in the Wilmington community and has supported local artists and art initiatives since the early '80s. Whether it's checking out an event or becoming a member of the group, supporting the community organization is a great gift experience for this holiday season.
Today, the Delaware Contemporary puts on art programs and classes that aspiring artists can take, hosts unique exhibitions and hosts different events. Members of the contemporary can get access to special events, including live music and dance performances and art classes. Memberships range from $50 to $1,000 per year.
