Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah shares photo of her skin picking struggle

Tallulah Willis is continuing to bring awareness to skin picking disorder.

The daughter of actors Demi Moore, 61, and Bruce Willis, 69, posted a throwback photo via Instagram on Saturday, August 17, showing what her skin looks like when she’s in the throes of her struggles with skin picking.

“Old pic, but just out here trying to shout to the roof tops that picking HAPPENS!!!” she captioned the photo of herself with scabs and marks on her face.

“And honestly it can be beautiful?” she added. “So next time you have a blackout and come to with a plethora of little scabby spots, give yourself some gentility !! Pls! Thank yuu [sic].”

Willis, 30, also directed people to a social media account that offers support for those struggling with skin picking disorder.

“Peep @pickingmefdn for some resources and support tools!” she wrote.

She ended the post with, “Love yous #2021 #pickingrecovery #ocdawareness #dermatillomania.’”

Willis’ sister Scout, 33, was among the many who liked the post.

Demi and Bruce’s youngest daughter also tagged Beverly Hills nurse practitioner Jennifer Hollander. The board-certified educator and “holistic skin health” believer often posts on Instagram about melasma and a variety of cosmetic skin treatments such as vampire facials. Willis has been receiving treatments from Hollander since at least 2021.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, skin picking disorder is classified as “a mental health condition where a person compulsively picks or scratches their skin, causing injuries or scarring.” The condition is officially known as dermatillomania but is also known as excoriation disorder and is considered an obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Willis has been outspoken about her battle with dermatillomania in the past.

She posted photos of herself back in June showing a stunning before-and-after of how her skin has changed during her “healing” journey.

“PICKING HAPPENS!! And then healing **can ** happen,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Healing doesn’t have to mean clear skin, and it doesn’t mean intrusive thoughts stop intruding, and it doesn’t mean you’re not gonna do it again,” she continued.

“[I]t’s small wins. There’s such a community in this struggle and I want so badly to share how I achieved my wins and help rescue all the sweet picked faces of the world!”

Willis first opened up about her skin picking disorder diagnosis three years ago.

“Skin Updates from an antsy handed chronic picker!” she wrote on a September 22, 2021 Instagram post.

“We have *ascended* to peak alien dewy supple goals,” she continued.

“’NOT TOUCHIN MY PRECIOUS DELICATE FACHE W GRUBBY NAILS IN 4 – COUNT EM’ – 4 MONTHS.”

Willis added that she had never “’felt so motivated to brag” and was “truly forkin proud” of herself.
