Did You Catch All of Ariana Grande’s Hidden Messages in the ‘7 Rings’ Video?
Oh you haven't already watched Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" video a dozen times? Tragic. JK, it's totally acceptable to watch it once, and then need to take a break because you're feeling too tempted to blow the last of your savings on Rapunzel-length hair extensions.
Here are all of the hidden details you totally missed while you were checking your bank statement.
The intro and outro music is the same as it is in "Thank U, Next."
What does THAT MEAN?! What is she teasing at?
Toulouse Lautrec Grande is basically the 8th ring holder.
Ariana's cute lil' Beagle-Chihuahua mix, Toulouse Lautrec Grande, makes a very good boy cameo. Although he has his own pink doggy crib in the front yard...
...he actually wasn't supposed to make an appearance in the video. Before the release, Ari tweeted that T wasn't originally supposed to be in it, but that he wouldn't leave her alone. TBH, you've gotta respect a pup who knows his angles.
Also, please look at this clip of Toulouse not know what TF to do while everyone's twerking. LOL.
There are hidden sevens all over the place.
Like... the mailbox.
Three diamond Japanese characters for the number seven flash on the screen for a split second...
...and also appear on the champagne bottles seen throughout the video.
The license plates are spilling some secret tea for us.
In the "Thank U, Next" video, Ariana teased "7 Rings" with the license plate on a car, and it is so unlike the Easter egg queen to leave any detail unnoticed. One of the license plates has the numbers "6-26," which some Twitter sleuths think may mean she's dropping the full album on June 26.
Another car in "7 Rings" has a license plate that reads "25 19-85," and fans think that it's a shoutout to the fact that she's 25, but dropped her first album when she was 19, even though it feels like it's been 85 years since then.
Sound like a stretch? Maybe, but Ari has tweeted that it feels like her first album, "Yours Truly," was 85 years ago.
There might be a hint about a potential new single.
Fans think that the side of one of the cars says "NASA," and that this is a little hint from Ari about which single will be next.
Courtney's sugar cookie is a MOOD.
There's such a slim chance that this means anything, but let's just take a moment to drool over the pink sugar cookie that Courtney is snacking on.
This iconic baked good might be the only thing any of us can actually afford in the video, so... I'm just going to drop this link here.
Everyone's playing video games.
On first watch, I literally squealed because I thought everyone was holding T-Mobile sidekicks. They're actually video game controllers.
Later in the video, you can see the holographic-looking screen they're playing the game on.
There's a subtle shoutout to the "Dangerous Woman" era.
Peep the bunny ears on the women behind her?
Can you picture Ariana just like, sitting on Twitter watching us all freak out over the workings of her mind? She really is a diabolical genius.
