You Don't Need To Build A Shelter If You Can Solve This Puzzle
Retired Navy SEAL Clint Emerson wrote a new book, the Deadly Skills Puzzle and Activity Book, to help people practice their observation and analysis skills. (You may remember him as the author of the New York Times best seller 100 Deadly Skills.)
The book was designed to be more than just a way to keep your brain sharp, however. Emerson created these puzzles for veterans and military personnel, including those suffering from traumatic brain injuries and PTSD, “as a tool for coping, recovery, and overall enhancement of brain health.”
Not that we can’t all benefit from it. The 181 mind benders and games all use real-world scenarios that athletes, military personnel, and first responders might encounter. There are word searches and crosswords and crazy-looking pyramids of numbers that you have to make sense of.
DIRECTIONS: Every tree has one tent either above, below, or beside it. No tent can be in a square touching another tent (even diagonally). The numbers beside each row and column tell you how many tents are in that row or column. Can you find all the tents? When you’re ready to see the answer, click here.
