Dr. Pimple Popper Just Squeezed A 'Garlic Clove' Cyst From Her Patient's Scalp
In Dr. Pimple Popper's new Instagram video, she helps a patient with a pilar cyst growing in the scalp.
The cyst requires only a little push from the derm to pop out in the fresh air.
Dr. Pimple Popper uses her typical popping strategy to get the whole "garlic clove" pilar cyst out successfully.
If you come to dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper, with a cyst, it doesn't stand a chance. She's removed all kinds of them from her patients, like this 'macaroni' pilar cyst, an 'eggplant' cyst from her patient's cheek, a 'gushing waterfall' cyst, and even 'birdseed' eruptive vellus cysts. And in her latest Instagram video, she is taking on a 'garlic clove' cyst that is deep in her patient's scalp.
"Little push, big reward! ???? #drpimplepopper #cyst," she captioned the video.
The video starts with the camera zoomed in on Dr. Pimple Popper's patient, who already has her scalp sliced open and ready for her cyst to be extracted.
"I'm going to push against you, okay? I'm not trying to push your head off," says Dr. Pimple Popper tells her patient as she uses her fingers to start to press on her scalp. As she presses (with not much effort), the cyst easily pops out.
But since the cyst is still attached to the scalp, Dr. Pimple Popper grabs a pair of tweezers and scissors to grab it and cut the whole thing out.
"It's coming out in one piece?" asks her patient.
"Yes! Last time it came out in fragments," says Dr. Pimple Popper, referring to a previous cyst she removed from the same patient.
And her Popaholics are loving it.
"Why was she hiding a clove of garlic in her head?" one commenter wrote, while another commented, "It's like delivering a baby!!??" There you have it, folks.
