Drake Postpones Nashville Shows for the Second Time
Drake's Nashville concerts, scheduled to take place Sunday, Oct. 1, and Monday, Oct. 2, have been postponed—again.
Fans were left stunned and disappointed for a second time when the Bridgestone Arena dropped the bomb on Twitter on Thursday, Sept. 28, announcing that the shows were in the process of being rescheduled.
"Dates are being finalized and details will be announced in the coming weeks," they wrote, before encouraging fans to keep their tickets close, as all previously sold tickets will be honored at the new dates.
The "Hotline Bling" rapper was originally scheduled to play in Nashville in June but postponed the show until October back in April. Due to high demand, they added a second show to the new weekend as well.

Drake has not spoken out about the change in schedule, nor has the arena addressed refunds or other adjustments for anyone who can't make the new date. They also have yet to provide a reason for the change.
Naturally, fans are furious—especially given how little notice they've received this time around.
"Second time. Nice. And for the people who booked hotels? No refunds on the tickets, either? Class act!" one frustrated reply read.
"It’s not like we all live 5 minutes from the arena," another vented. "All the costs, the time away from work. I’m sure Nashville will be great but the point was the show. Don’t think I’m going to get fooled again at this local."
"Can you give us an explanation? This is the 2nd time…" someone else requested, to no avail.
To his credit, he's not the only performer who's had to cancel a show recently, nor does he earn the record for the most last-minute cancellation. Earlier in Sept., Ed Sheeran devastated fans when he canceled his Vegas show after discovering during soundcheck that there was a dangerous issue with the flooring that could not be rectified in time for the show to go on as planned.
