Dunkin' Drops Taylor Swift-Inspired Friendship Bracelets

Dunkin' is dropping a collection of sweet nothings seemingly inspired by Taylor Swift.

In honor of National Coffee Day on Friday, Sept. 29, the coffee chain teamed up with the Little Words Project for a series of friendship bracelets featuring one of four fun-brewing phrases: "Iced Coffee," "Cafecito Time," "Eat the Donut" and "Get Sip Done."

The bracelets, which retail for $30 each, will only be available online at littlewordsproject.com beginning at 8 a.m. EST this Friday (A.K.A. National Coffee Day) while supplies last, according to an announcement from Dunkin'.

So while Swifties shouldn't be running to Dunkin' for a bracelet on Friday, java drinkers surely should be headed there to take advantage of the brand's National Coffee Day deal.

Rewards members can happily enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase, and if you're not already subscribed to its loyalty program consider this incentive to join.

And as for how Dunkin' decided on friendship bracelets, the Eras tour may have made friendship bracelets skyrocket in popularity, but the real reason is even more wholesome–inspired by true events, according to the founder of the bracelet brand.

“Since founding Little Words Project 10 years ago, my Dunkin’ coffee has fueled the daily grind that building a business requires," said Adriana Carrig, founder and CEO of Little Words Project.

"Both Dunkin’ and Little Words Project are committed to bringing joy into people’s lives," added Dunkin' CMO Jill McVicar Nelson,"making this partnership a natural fit."

This is the second collaboration–or should we say flex–from the brand this month that's nearly broken the internet. Just over two weeks ago, Dunkin' went viral for the limited-edition menu item it launched in partnership with rapper Ice Spicea seasonal coffee beverage that includes blended up pumpkin spice Munchkins.
