Dynamic duo Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth will reunite for awards show
They were hailed as the new royal besties during their first joint public appearance last week, and now everyone’s favorite royal duo is set to make another outing.
Kensington Palace has confirmed that Meghan Markle will be attending the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards with her grandmother-in-law — and new sidekick — Queen Elizabeth on June 26.
Prince Harry will also be showing up at the reception, which will be held at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards recognize young people from across the Commonwealth who have shown exceptional talent and skill.
And it seems that the newly minted Duchess of Sussex has made a lasting impression on the queen, as their upcoming outing comes just days after they bonded during their first joint royal engagement.
Queen Elizabeth and Meghan were pictured laughing and joking with each other during their official visit to Chester, England, on June 14.
They were also spotted chatting at Royal Ascot on June 19.
It seems as if the queen may have taken Meghan under her wing, with Prince Charles’s former butler, Grant Harrold, explaining that the duchess will be eager to learn royal etiquette from the head of the family.
“She will learn from the other members of the royal family, which will be following them round, and copying the way they do things,” Harrold told Yahoo U.K.
“She’s got a wonderful sister-in-law for this, and of course the queen, because the queen is the perfect member of the family to follow.”
Here’s hoping that Harry doesn’t feel like too much of a third wheel.
