Eva Longoria Longs for Summer Sun in Throwback Bikini Photo

It may still be January, but Eva Longoria is in a summer state of mind.

Eva Longoria is getting a little nostalgic for summertime.

The Desperate Housewives alum, 47, reminisced on warmer days in her latest Instagram post, sharing a throwback summer snap of herself lounging on a boat while out on the water.

In the sun-kissed photo, Longoria's skin is seen glowing in the sunshine while she rocks a white bikini covered in smiley faces and graphic text that reads, "Life is awesome."

"Anyone else missing the summer sun???," she captioned the post, which garnered plenty of comments about the stunning physique she's flaunting in the pic.

"Absolutely gorgeous," one fan wrote under the post, while another called the sunny snap "dreamlike." An overwhelming amount of flame emojis "??" also filled the comments.

Longoria recently opened up about getting her body back in shape after welcoming her son Santiago in 2018. While talking to First for Women earlier this month, the actress said the "biggest challenge" of losing baby weight is "dealing with the societal norms around it."

“People point out that you look different. And it’s like, ‘yeah, I just had a baby! I created another human being!’" she stated, adding, "The big challenge for women is to shut out the noise.”

For Longoria, she has used minimally invasive aesthetic treatments in combination with workouts and diets that best fit her lifestyle. However, she told the outlet that one of the most important tips for weight loss is "to make sure you’re going at your own pace.”

She also noted that positive self-talk impacts the process as well. "I was super thankful to my body for the miracle that it produced," she said. "How we speak to ourselves matters. It’s so important to be thankful and tell your body, ‘thank you so much.’"

“I really listen to my body as far as what it needs,” she added.
