Every Easter Egg You Missed in Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” Music Video

She went ahead and did it again. Just one month after dropping the most iconic music video of our generation, Ariana Grande has given us another banger, and it is already on GNO Spotify playlists everywhere.
On top of the song though, Ari dropped another vid, featuring her besties, wigs for days, and champagne towers. Under all that pink, however, is a whole lot of little easter eggs waiting to be uncovered. Here's everything you missed in the "7 Rings" music video.
We've Heard that Intro before
If you were like me, you pressed play on the music video and thought, "wait, am I watching 'Thank U, Next' again?" That's because Ariana samples "7 Rings" for the intro of the "TUN" music video. You know what I'm talking about. It plays behind the iconic Mean Girls spoof in the beginning.
Her Friends were in the video
According to Ari, back in the fall, she took her six friends to Tiffany's on an especially "challenging" day. "They got us very tipsy, so we bought seven engagement rings, and when I got back to the studio I gave everybody a friendship ring," she told Billboard. "That’s why we have these, and that’s where the song idea came from."
On the way back, one of Ari's friends, Njomza told Ariana she thought the whole experience would make a good song, and BAM, "7 Rings" was born.
For their part, all six of Ari's friends got to be in the music video, and they can be seen partying it up in multiple scenes. They got a ring and were featured in an Ari music video? Damn, not a bad deal.
Toulouse is also featured
Everyone knows Ari loves her pups, so it makes sense that her dog, Toulouse, was in "7 Rings." In reality, though, he wasn't supposed to be there at all, but being the diva he is, he wiggled is way into the vid.
According to a tweet from Ari, Toulouse wouldn't leave the shot, so they decided to keep him in. Do you think that would work if I sneak on to the set of Ari's next video shoot and refuse to leave?
Hidden Song Titles
Ariana is known for hiding future songs titles in her music videos, and she did it again in "7 Rings"! One fan pointed out the word "NASA" was spray painted on a wall in the video.
Thanks to some other social media sleuths, we know that "NASA" is a song off her upcoming album, along with "7 Rings," "Imagine," and, of course, "Thank U, Next."
She's still a Dangerous Woman
The Dangerous Woman era may be long over, but Ari still pays homage to it in the music video. In the shot where Ari is looking like a modern day Rapunzel with her hair draped down steps, there are four dancers with bunny ears on behind her.
When a fan tweeting out an image of the video with a side by side of Ari in Dangerous Woman ears, Ari liked the tweet! Which pretty much confirms that's what she was going for.
