Everything You Need to Know About the Unravel Show

Two years ago, I wrote that only Kendall Jenner could make me lust for a $350 sweatshirt. As it turns out, the hoodie was from the luxury streetwear brand Unravel, a new line often worn by the Kardashian-Jenner crew.

This week, Unravel designers Ben Taverniti and wife Joyce Bonelli - who just so happens to be Kim Kardashian’s longtime makeup artist - held their first show for their spring collection at Yoyo, a club in the basement of Paris’ Palais de Tokyo.

Very “Million Dollar Baby, but make it fashion,” the collection featured deconstructed silk robes, bomber jackets, oversize sweatshirts, and holey sweaters. Wide elastic waistbands that looked like they were ripped from boxer shorts were then placed on tube tops, silk pants and shorts, and tulle skirts. Thigh-high boots accompanied many of the looks, a clear choice for Khloe, Kim, and Kylie’s future closets. What else will they be able to convince me I need? Check back in six months when the collection hits shelves and the paparazzi shots trickle in.
