Family irate after topless woman photobombs group photo: 'A sign of disrespect'
A family on a group trip to a Texas state park took a photo to remember their vacation together, but looking back, learned that a woman jumped into a picture they were posing for and flashed the camera.
Monica Davila went on vacation on Thursday with her family in Concan, Texas. She tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the group went to “various watering holes” in the area, and was visiting Garner State Park on Saturday when the incident occurred.
Davila explains that they were at the park to “make memories” and show their children the “importance of family and spending time together.” But when she was looking through photos of the vacation, she spotted the woman, who lifted up her shirt to reveal her breast, smiling in the back of a group shot.
According to KTRK, the family had planned the trip in honor of Davila’s husband’s grandmother, who recently passed away.
“I understand that many see it as a practical joke — but I don’t think it’s funny,” she says. “I see it as a sign of disrespect.”
In a Facebook post, she wrote she “was extremely saddened” when she saw “a mom had exposed herself in my family photo with kids nearby.”
Davila said she called the Uvalde Police Department to report the incident.
She hopes that by publishing the photo, she wants “to just hold people accountable.”
“The next time you want to flash your boob in today’s day, and technology-forward environment, things will end up on the internet,” she says. “I also hope that this message discourages others from doing dumb stuff.”
Garner State Park and the Uvalde Police Department did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s requests for comment.
