Charcuterie boards are all about finesse, and the elevated appetizer platter seems to shine as bright as the Christmas tree topper around the holidays. Although there’s an art to curating the perfect pre-dinner grazing station, there are numerous resources out there to make selecting your coveted ingredients the easiest part.

When it comes to finding all the things necessary to create a show-stopping board, fan-favorite grocer Aldi has quickly become a one-stop shop for everything you could ever need...and then some. From stunning serving boards to an incredible selection of cured meats and cheeses, the German-based supermarket chain has it all.

Aside from the main ingredients, the fancy canapé tray gets a much-needed lift from sauces and spreads — and of course, Aldi has a wide selection of those, too.

Hiding amongst the chain’s immensely underrated Charcuterie Shop is a popular grazing board spread shoppers are buying multiples of at a time.

While there are plenty of other jellies, jams, and honeys available for purchase at the retailer, the undisputed fan-favorite happens to be Specially Selected Green Olive Tapenade. The spread in question is bursting with the salty, briny flavors of green olives and is the perfect juxtaposition for creamy baked brie or festive cheddar cheese.

Tapenade super-fans shared their love for the spectacular cracker topper on the ever-reliable Aldi-themed subreddit. “I eat it straight out of the jar. I bought five jars last weekend and just finished the last one yesterday ??...I'm not proud of my actions,” hilariously confessed one person.

Another consoled the user while also recommending another way to enjoy the delicacy, “There is no shame in that game. I put that on cream cheese between two bread slices and make a sandwich.”

While tapenade got a lot of love, the main topic of conversation was the sheer number of game-changing products found in the chain’s Charcuterie Shop. Items available at the retailer include pear cinnamon spread, garlic scalloped crackers paired with dill Havarti, chili pickles, the famed caramelized onion chutney, red pepper jelly and so many more. What’s even better is the fact that you can gather all of your ingredients for a fraction of the cost compared to other stores, and one user even claimed to have fed 10 guests for only $48!

Thanks to Aldi, creating a stunning charcuterie board for your next holiday gathering is easier (and more affordable) than ever. While preparing the board yourself can be incredibly therapeutic, if you don’t have the time, Costco has a premade option shoppers are calling a “best kept secret.”
