Fans Praise Coco Austin's Close Bond With Daughter in New Pool Video
Coco Austin absolutely adores her 7-year-old daughter Chanel, whom she shares with her husband, Ice-T, and she shows that love anytime she can.
In a new video posted to social media, Coco and Chanel played around in the pool together, showing some sweet affection, and fans loved the mother and daughter's close bond.
On Instagram, Coco captioned the aquatic clip, "Having fun with my Samsung phone, it actually takes great video underwater .. Chanel just loves kissing her mama doesn't she? She is adorable ..She is my obsession #motherdaughterlove #mermaids."
The video shows Coco wearing a colorful bikini as she and Chanel dive to the bottom of the pool. Chanel then grabs her mom, and together they hug and swirl around before the little girl gives Coco a kiss.
Many fans celebrated the soft family moment, with one writing, "Showing love and affection with your children is so important for their mental health!! Wish their wasn't such a stigma about showing affection in past generations! Love this! ??."
As people have criticized Coco in the past for aspects of her parenting style, it was no surprise that some appeared in the comments of this video to complain about the mother-daughter duo's way of showing love, as one such comment read, "The kissing is weirddddddd im sorry not sorry."
But the comments were also filled with people coming to Coco's defense, with notes like, "So y’all don’t kiss/hug your children? OR, your parents never gave y’all any affection? Because it shows. This is a beautiful video ??."
"Yikes, some of you weren't shown love and affection and it shows. ?? that's her mama, that's her person, her safe place, a place she knows she is loved and cherished... the only thing weird about this is people making it weird," said another.
Despite any backlash Coco might face from people on the internet, the 44-year-old doesn't seem to let it bother her too much, as she continues to parent Chanel in the way she sees best. The two clearly have a close relationship, one that Coco loves showing it off on social media.
