Fire Country fans, it won't be too long before a new episode airs. It just won't be when you expect it.
When the CBS drama premiered back in October 2022, viewers instantly began admiring Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot)'s efforts to shorten a five-year prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. But after getting assigned to his hometown of Edgewater, California, he's forced to face another set of problems: the people he hurt in his past. What's more, he's now working alongside his former loved ones, all while trying to stop fires that could introduce dire consequences to the entire region.
Many might agree that the show is the perfect mix of heart and grit, evidenced by folks quickly latching onto it over the course of 16 episodes. But for the last few weeks, Fire Country has been on hiatus, leaving many to wonder when it will return to their TVs. Well, we did some research, and it will come back soon. But not this week because Fire Country will not air a new episode tonight.
When is Fire Country coming back with new episodes?
Fire Country will return to CBS with a new episode on Friday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET. The show's Instagram informed followers of this disappointing news on March 21. But in between the sad information, they also let folks know that they can catch up on earlier moments in season 1.
"We’re back March 31st but so you don’t miss us TOO much," the caption read. "Make sure to binge watch all the available episodes of #FireCountry on @paramountplus ??."
While it's still some time before Bode and the folks at Three Rock and Cal Fire head out on another rescue mission, CBS did provide some insight about what's to come in next week's episode. According to a synopsis from IMDB, Bode and his crew must investigate frenemy/firefighter Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) after he's accused of deliberately setting a slew of recent fires across the area.
