The first downtown Fond du Lac night market for 2024 kicks off June 27. Here's what to know.

FOND DU LAC – Fond du Lac's evening open-air street market is fast approaching for its fourth year.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership's Night Market kicks off June 27 and continues 5 to 8 p.m. July 11, July 25, Aug. 8 and Aug. 22 on Main Street Plaza and Sheboygan Street.

The night market operates similarly to the farmers' market, hosting vendors offering art, crafts and food alongside live music, artist demonstrations and a kids' activity area.

The J. Ryan Trio will be the music act at the first market, followed by Jeremiah Jam Band, Nick Gonnering, The Cheese Doodles and Hold 'Em High at succeeding markets.

Though the farmers' market is pet-friendly, the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership asks that pets be left home for the night market.

Night market days coincide with the Thirteen Thursdays concert series from the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, 51 Sheboygan St. Vintage western swing band Remington's Ride is the performer for the June 27 concert, starting at 7 p.m.

Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership introduces 'summer passport'

Aligning with summer events and downtown shopping opportunities, the partnership introduced the Downtown Fond du Lac Summer Passport program June 1, in which participants can enter for a chance to win prizes at the end of the summer for spending money at local businesses.

From now until Sept. 7, every $10 spent at a participating business will be an entry into the drawing for a $500 Downtown Fond du Lac Gift Certificate grand prize. Second place is a $250 gift certificate, and additional winners can receive prizes donated by various downtown businesses.

To enter, participants need to keep their receipts and submit them to the partnership's office, 131 S. Main St., with an entry form from the website by Sept. 7.

Participating businesses include Arbor Acres, Argentum et Aurum, Bagel Meister, Beauty Republic Salon, Bird's Eye View Optical, Blue Marble Botanicals, CC's Chocolates, Cujak's Wine & Spirits, Fat Joe's Burgers and Brew, Fondy Axe Company, Fond du Lac Cyclery, Gallery and Frame Shop, Lillian's, Lunar & Lake Book Market, Main Street Fashion, Mojo Hair Studio, Sumercé Artisans and Wonder, as well as One Main Cafe and Table One inside Hotel Retlaw.
