Forget the Award, Regina King Can't Stop Talking About Meeting Sam Elliott at the Golden Globes
Just because Regina King won a Golden Globe award doesn’t mean it was the best part of her night.
On yesterday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the If Beale Street Could Talk star, 48, revealed that her best memory from the 76th annual ceremony had nothing to do with winning the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. In fact, King’s night was made when she finally met her celebrity crush, Sam Elliott.
After revealing that she doesn’t normally “go up to people and ask to take pictures,” she admitted that she went “against everything that I know when I saw Sam Elliott.”
King went on to confirm that his mustache is, in fact, real. “It’s just, like, it’s perfect,” she adds.
It’s the little things, people.
