How to Get a Free Frosty From Wendy's Every Day in 2024

Wendy's is bringing back a fan-favorite Frosty deal, and it's all for a good cause.

The popular fast-food chain has announced the return of its Frosty? Key Tag fundraiser this National Adoption Month, where purchasers will be able to redeem one free Jr. Frosty with any purchase, every single day until Dec. 21, 2024.

Starting Monday, Nov. 20, and for just $3, in-store or via the Wendy's app, consumers can obtain a physical tag to hook onto their keychain or a digital tag to load on their account. For future purchases, consumers just have to show their tag to the cashier or scan their Wendy's Rewards card in-store or add the promotion to their order online. And, as a Jr. Frosty goes for only 99 cents, less than three redemptions will have you breaking even.

Tags will be available for purchase through Feb. 14, 2024, but they can be redeemed starting on Nov. 20 and running through all of 2024. 90% percent of the proceeds for the Frosty? Key Tags benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a nonprofit organization that helps find safe, permanent and loving homes for children in foster care. The restaurant brand aims to raise the most money it ever has so far for the foundation.

Through Nov. 19, Wendy's also has an opportunity for fans to try out their limited edition Peppermint Frosty holiday flavor—which replaced the Pumpkin Spice Frosty—or Frosty Cream Cold Brew completely free of charge. The only catch is that it's an app-only offer, so you'll need to redeem the free treat for pickup or delivery.
