George and Charlotte at Trooping the Colour
Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, are here to steal the show at another royal gathering. The siblings joined members of their family-including newlyweds Meghan Markle and Prince Harry-on the Buckingham Palace balcony today for Trooping the Colour, a grand celebration honoring their great-grandmother, the Queen.
The royal tots headed to the front of the royal balcony so they'd have a prime view of the Royal Air Force fly-past. There, they joined their young cousins Savannah and Isla Phillips (daughters of Peter Philips, Harry's cousin, and Autumn Philips).
Princess Charlotte wore a blue floral dress with a peter pan collar; it appeared to be the same one she wore for her visit to the hospital when her baby brother Prince Louis was born in April. She also sported a dainty red bow in her hair. The three-year-old was more than enthused when the planes flew over Buckingham Palace.
Prince George was in a white button-down shirt with blue lining and though we couldn't see the rest of his outfit, we assume he went with his trusty shorts for the occasion. He and his fellow royal yougins looked up as the planes went past.
Trooping the Colour may be honoring the Queen's birthday, but it's birthday season for the young royals, too. Charlotte just turned three on May 2, and George turns five next month, on July 22. Plus, the pair just welcomed a younger sibling, Prince Louis, in April. The six-week-old wasn't present for the event, considering his young age, but soon enough, he'll be on plenty of adorable outings with his big brother and sister.
