George Lopez is selling Melania Trump-inspired jackets: 'Keep the kids, deport the racists'
Comedian George Lopez is ensuring immigrant families benefit from Melania Trump’s infamous fashion error, by selling jackets that read, “Keep the kids, deport the racists.”
According to TMZ, Lopez is working with the Venice, California-based store Inland to sell the $99 olive-green jackets with the proceeds going toward organizations that unify families separated at the border, due to President Trump ’s “zero policy” immigration policy that mandated thousands of children to be detained.

Over the weekend, Lopez shared a photo of himself wearing a prototype alongside actor D.L. Hughley who wore a denim jacket bearing the phrase “Fo real, tho!”
Per TMZ, only a few hundred pieces, which includes $19.99 T-shirts, will be sold at Inland. Store co-owners Kristin Fedyk and Alberto Hernandez did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment.
According to Lopez’s Instagram caption, proceeds will go to organizations that are focused on reuniting parents with their children.
On Thursday, on her way to a Texas-based detention center for immigrant children, Melania complimented her white jeans and Stan Smith sneakers with a $39, green Zara jacket with the words, “I really don’t care. Do u?”
The first lady deplaned in Texas without the jacket, but photos had already circulated triggering a massive online backlash, and Melania was slammed for being “tone deaf.” The president tweeted that the jacket was a statement to the “dishonest” media.
However, the statement encouraged several feel-good imitators dubbed “I care” fashion from celebrities, artists, politicians, and clothing brands.
