Gird Your Wallets: KitchenAid's 100th Anniversary, Vintage-Inspired Stand Mixer Is Here
We’ll be the first to admit that we have an, um, unhealthy relationship with our KitchenAid stand mixer. The small appliance has been there for us through thick and thin—so forgive us for waxing poetic about the thing. And FYI, the brand is celebrating its 100th (!) anniversary…with a covetable new colorway, of course.
The limited-edition “Misty Blue” mixer features midcentury-inspired design and one-of-a-kind details that recall the original model, released in 1937. A vintage-inspired ceramic hobnail bowl, tweaked logo and silky matte finish have us seriously tempted to splurge. (Oh, yeah…it’s $500.)
Sure, you could get the same mixer with a white-coated stainless steel bowl for $100 less…but why settle?
