Golden Retriever's Reaction to Watching 'The Lion King' Is So Heartbreaking

We think it’s safe to say that ‘The Lion King’ is up there at the top for one of Disney’s best movies. The movie has everything – great songs, great characters and a great storyline. But there is, of course, the saddest part of the movie that gets just about everyone to cry. That includes dogs as well.

TikTok user @krissaygirl was watching this beloved classic with her Golden Retriever. They got to the part where Mufasa, unfortunately, passes. And ugh, her dog’s reaction is ripping our hearts apart. Grab a tissue for this one!

Stop it! We already have a tough time watching this scene in the movie so adding in this dog’s reaction has us completely heartbroken. And we aren’t the only ones. 

“Now I’m bawling. The way he gets lower and lower,” commented @nicholedeschaepmeester. Right?! He knew what was happening and was bowing as a sign of respect. Ugh, here come the tears again. “Pupper is feeling all the feelings,” added @kmagnor. We totally understand. That scene puts everyone in their feels.

@itsryanboswell wrote what we’re all demanding, “You better have given this good doggo lots of love right after this.” He needed snuggles for the rest of the night after that! And a few extra treats wouldn’t hurt either!
