Grammy Awards 2018: Greg Kurstin Crowned as Producer of the Year
The Grammys committee just honored one behind-the-scenes guru with a well-deserved statuette.
Greg Kurstin went home with the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year for his work on the Foo Fighters’ Concrete and Gold, Beck’s Dear Life, Zayn’s Dusk Till Dawn, Kendrick Lamar’s Love, Halsey’s Strangers and Liam Gallagher’s Wall of Glass at the 60th annual ceremony tonight.
Other nominees included Calvin Harris for Don’t Quit and Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1; Blake Mills for John Legend’s Darkness and Light, Jim James’s Eternally Even, John Legend and Cynthia Erivo’s God Only Knows, Jesca Hoop’s Memories Are Now, Perfume Genius’s No Shape and Laura Marling’s Semper Femina; No I.D. for Logic’s America, Vic Mensa’s The Autobiography and Jay-Z’s 4:44; and The Stereotypes for Fifth Harmony’s Deliver, Sevyn Streeter’s Before I Do, Little Yachty’s Better, Bruno Mars’s Finesse and That’s What I Like, Kyle’s Sunshine and Iggy Azalea’s Mo Bounce.
Now that’s one hell of a year.
