Grandma Accidentally Gives 6-Year-Old This Hilariously Inappropriate Book
Bedtime stories are the quintessential part of getting your little ones to sleep. And when you open these books up, you'd expect fun fairytales in magical kingdoms, courageous superheroes or, maybe, the occasional time-traveling unicorn.
But when a 6-year-old recently sat down with her dad to read a book sent by her grandma - one about talking animals - what those animals said was rather … inappropriate.
The picture book, called "If Animals Could Talk," is not for kids whatsoever. In fact, it's for adults.
When the 6-year-old's mom found out about this harmless (but hilarious) mishap, she couldn't wait to share the news. "I'm dying. My mom bought this book for my 6-year-old and I just called to ask if she had actually opened the book. She hadn't," the mom tweeted. The post has over 55,000 retweets since it was shared on Tuesday, and people are saying it's the "best Grandma Foul ever."
The book's wittiness is spot-on, take a look:
The girl's response to all this? "I don't even know what this means." (Thank God.)
Co-author Josh Cassidy even tweeted back, saying he "appreciates Granny's taste," and that the mom should regift the book on her daughter's 18th birthday.
